Costa Blanca day trip - Tárbena, a mountain village

Park where you can in the village and wander around on foot, the village is not large!

Casa Pinet, Tarbena, an excellent restaurant in the mountains If you are stopping here for lunch, it might be a good idea to go first to Casa Pinet to book a table, since the restaurant usually gets very busy at lunch time.
The people in this village are very friendly and helpful. From here you will find views including one of Benidorm.
Back to Casa Pinet, also known as Can Pinet, this restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. It seems the village of Tárbena has/had communist leanings which the owner of this restaurant has continued.
There are photographs, flags and other memorabilia everywhere, including signed photographs of the owner with some very famous international clients. Look around and enjoy!
I might point out that the owner himself will serve at your table, ignoring his physical disability. Another very friendly character!

The lamb, if it is on the menu, is excellent. Most items on the menu are typical of the area and very wholesome, as is the wine ;+)
Don't expect a large bill and don't eat too much, you still have a little way to go to get to Fonts D'Algar, where you can relax a little.
Fonts D'Algar, relax and enjoy…
