The village of Benitachell is situated on the road connecting Javea and Moraira, being some 15 minutes by car from each.
There are several large and prestigious urbanisations within the towns borders, Cumbre del Sol being, perhaps, the best known. In recent years the urbanisation Les Fonts has grown up in the valley alonside the town, largely inhabited by british residents.
As in many areas of the Costa Blanca, Benitachell is now finding itself in the front line for property and office sales and rentals, as the coastal areas become more crowded.
Benitachell has the advantage of being able to keep most of the new construction in the valleys around and on the hilltops around, as opposed to in the town itself. Leaving the town to keep it's original rural character and Costa Blanca charm.
