Graham Foster ex Major Blues, Night Train
If you get the chance, go see him playing

I recently got to see Graham Foster playing in a small Spanish pub, Pub Soroll, between Ondara and Benidoleig.
Arriving at about 10:30 pm, with Geoff Britton, Graham had been there since 9:00 pm, setting up his gear and then going to eat with the owners.
A quick sound check, playing a couple of numbers and it was off to the bar to wait the start, eventually, at 12:30 am.
Geoff Britton had been called in to play drums this night, which is how I came to be there. Geoff had brought along his favourite bass drum, a ludwig as usual, which was actually made the year I was born, 1951!
The set was an excellent mix of Graham's songs and some not usually heard covers. Graham also played some tunes from his newest album (his fourth I think).

Just before finishing, Graham insisted that I get up and play some things, so he took the bass and we rocked for a little while!
The gig lasted until about 3:30 am, by which time I was exhausted. After packing Geoffs drums in his van and saying our goodbyes it was home to bed at around 5:00 am!
