Live jazz in Javea!


Every monday night, live at An Shebeen, the Irish Pub in Javea, you can enjoy the music of 'The Colin Fraser Quintet'.
Leading one of the best and longest serving jazz bands on the Costa Blanca, Colin has the the right mix of tunes to keep everyone 'In The Mood' right up to the last note.
From the 30s until today, there are few jazz melodies that Colin and his musicians don't have in their repertoire.
Music starts at around 9:00 pm. Why not enjoy the evening to the full by taking advantage of the great food at An Shebeen. The kitchens are open until 10:30 pm, serving such delights as, Irish Stew, Steak Pie, Surf and Turf, Duck in Orange sauce and many more.
The food is good and the prices very reasonable.

The Musicians
Currently playing in the quintet are:

  • Colin Fraser - Trombone and vocals
  • Wally Bussey - Tenor, alto and soprano sax, flute, clarinet and vocals
  • Geoff Britton - Ludwig drums and the occasional cowbell
  • Heio Berens - Piano and keyboards
  • Julio Fuster - Acoustic string bass
Drinking and driving
As Colin always advises, 'If you are drinking and driving home, remember to take the car!'
